Spinach Apple Green Juice
Spinach and green apples blend into a bright green juice, strained smooth and poured into glasses for a simple, vegetable-forward refresher.
This green juice leans on green apples to soften the vegetal edge of raw spinach without covering up its flavor completely. A blender and a fine mesh strainer or nut milk bag do the same job as a juicer here, just with an extra straining step at the end. Serve it right away while it is still bright green and fresh.

Method
Tap a number to mark a step doneCombine the spinach, chopped apples, cucumber, lemon juice, and water in a blender, adding the leafy greens first.
Add the grated ginger if using, for a little extra warmth and brightness in the finished green juice.
Blend on high for 45 to 60 seconds, until the mixture is completely smooth with no visible chunks.
Pour the mixture through a fine mesh strainer or nut milk bag set over a bowl, pressing to extract as much liquid as possible.
Discard the leftover pulp, or save it for smoothies or baking instead of simply throwing it away in the trash.
Pour the strained juice into glasses and serve it immediately over ice if you would like it colder.
Kitchen note
Blend the toughest ingredients first, like spinach and cucumber, so the blade breaks them down fully before the softer apple gets pureed.
