Saucy Tomato Lasagna Squares
This lasagna is baked with extra tomato sauce spooned over each square before serving, so every bite arrives sitting in a pool of rich sauce.
Instead of slicing a lasagna dry and setting it beside a small pool of sauce, this version doubles the tomato sauce and keeps half in reserve. Once the lasagna comes out of the oven and rests, squares are cut and served bathed in the warmed extra sauce. A pinch of red pepper flakes keeps the sauce from tasting flat.
