Layered Sunset Sangria
Two sangria bases of different sweetness layer into a sunset gradient in the glass, finished with an orange wheel balanced on the rim.
Getting sangria to layer instead of mix is really about sugar content, since a sweeter, denser liquid naturally sinks below a lighter one. A red wine and grenadine base goes in first for the bottom layer, while a lighter white wine and orange juice mixture floats on top when poured slowly over ice. Pour carefully and the gradient holds for several minutes before it starts to blend.
